We welcome back Matt Forsythe to the gallery to celebrate MINA, the follow up to his picture book POKKO, as well as his amazing concept paintings for the Oscar nominated short film, Robin Robin.
OPENING RECEPTION: March 5th, 5pm - 8pm
- Matt will be flying in from Canada to be in attendance on opening night.
- New original works from MINA, Robin Robin and other personal projects will be on display / for sale.
- Matt will be doing a FREE presentation on the development of MINA at 5:30pm PST
- FREE admission, No RSVP needed, all ages welcome, masks required.
- New prints, MINA enamel pins, and POKKO sticker sheet will debut in store only on opening night.
WORKSHOP: March 5, 1pm - 4pm
- $120 per student
- This workshop will be held on ZOOM and in person.
- Students will learn to create their own picture books from concept to completion.

ABOUT MATT FORSYTHE:
Matt has worked and traveled all over the world, and his career has also traveled through many realms: animation, comics, picture books, and more. Many are familiar with his work as lead animator on the hit show Adventure Time, but Matt has also done concept and production design work for Disney, Netflix and Aardman Animation.
He has been nominated for an Eisner award and has won the Doug Wright award for his comic Ojingogo. He has also won the EB White Award and many other honors for his work illustrating children's picture books.
