Join Gallery Nucleus in welcoming Matt Forsythe, artist of animation, comics, and picture books, for a signing and a Solo Exhibition this December! 

Matt will be in person to sign copies of his new book Pokko and the Drum, newly published this October. The show will feature original artwork used in the book as well as from his children's books and persoanl work. Matt will also be teaching an amazing workshop the following day, where attendees will be able to learn how to create their own picture books from concept to fully finished illustrations. Attendees will be painting alongside Matt, so don't miss this great opportunity to study directly with one of best illustrators in children's books!

ABOUT MATT FORSYTHE:

Matt has worked and traveled all over the world, and his career has also traveled through many realms: animation, comics, picture books, and more. Many are familiar with his work as lead animator on the hit show Adventure Time, but Matt has also done concept and production design work for Disney, Netflix and Aardman Animation. 

He has been nominated for an Eisner award and has won the Doug Wright award for his comic Ojingogo. He has also won the EB White Award and many other honors for his work illustrating children's picture books. 

His newest book Pokko and the Drum is out now with Simon & Schuster.
