FEATURED ARTISTS

MALL
Working under a nickname that represents her full name, MALL (May Ann Lumbang Licudine) is a multimedia artist, uniting paint, inks, resin, paper, washi tape, and a full bag of magic to create beautiful and dreamy illustrations and sculptures. Drawing from folklore of the Philippines, her work invites you to peer through the mists into new, unexplored worlds.

Kristin Kwan
Kristin Kwan is an artist who makes illustrative paintings and drawings. Her work uses elements of fantasy and allegory to explore themes of life, death, and rebirth. She lives with her husband, daughter, and crowd of pets in Lincoln, NE.

When Kristin was growing up her family moved many times, and every new home held mysteries and secrets. She dreamed of hidden stairways that led to unknown attics, or cellars underneath that held forgotten treasures. That low door is still elusive, but when she picks up her pencil or paint brush she can find it for a little while. When she paints she tries to bring some of that magic country back with her.

Lorena Alvarez
Lorena is a freelance illustrator and artist, based in Bogotá, Colombia. She's made illustrations for children books, independent publications, advertising and fashion magazines. She is known for her award winning children's books Nightlights and Hicotea: A Nightlights Story. She works at her home studio, surrounded by music and her loved ones. She loves to paint, take care of her dog and read comic books.

Yvan Duque
Yvan Duque was born in France and spent his childhood between Polynesia and Reunion Island. He studied illustration at Pivaut School in Nante and among other things has worked as a festival director and decor designer for animation cinema. His work draws from folklore, fantasy, and nature. He illustrates comics and children's books, and his first work Like a Giant, has been translated into several languages around the world.

Erin Vest
Erin Vest is a digital freelance illustrator currently based in Richmond, VA. Her work revolves around quiet fairytales, saturated storybook colors, and soft things that move very, very slowly. Other passions include a love for grimdark fantasy novels and drinking truly absurd amounts of coffee.
