Momonk feeds only in the winter. Its primary source of nutrition is foliage preserved under ice. When eating, Momonk’s tail unfurls onto the ground, allowing it to detect the movements of nearby creatures through the earth. A stoic creature, it rarely reacts to the presence of a non-hostile creature. Its primary defense is fleeing, its secondary is a piercing scream that can be heard many miles away.
