WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
On theme with Blue Eye Samurai, Jane Wu will be instructing students on quick and practical gesture drawing. A costumed model will be wearing a traditional kimono and posing with various weapons and props. The poses will be short action poses with emphasis on storyboarding applications.

The class will be held in Nucleus' main gallery. Located at 210 East Main St. Alhambra CA 91801

• Grease pencil ( 3 colors, black / red / yellow)
• Large newsprint or drawing pad w/ drawing board
• Drawing benches and chairs will be provided

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR JANE WU

Jane has been a story artist since 1997. She is currently executive producer / director on Blue Eye Samurai at Netflix. She has worked on such notable projects as:

• Guardians of the Galaxy
• Thor Ragnarok
• Into the Spider-Verse
• Game of Thrones
• Walking Dead
• Mulan (Live Action Movie)

 
She graduated from Otis and also has a background in fashion design and martial arts.
