Netflix and Nucleus present a one day special panel and signing for the recent hit animated film, Nimona, with Production Designer Aidan Sugano and creator of the Nimona graphic novel, ND Stevenson! Tracey Miller-Zarneke will moderate.

The panelists will curate a presentation exclusively for Gallery Nucleus and will be sharing insights from the production and some behind the scenes work on the film. Select production art from the film will also be on display and a limited number of the Nimona graphic novel will be available for the event.

AIDAN SUGANO - Production Designer

Aidan is a graduate of San Jose State University where he studied in the Animation / Illustration program. He always had a love for art and animation gave him a way to help bring it to life. In his short career, Aidan has worked on projects including Spies in Disguise (character design), Ice Age: Collision (Character Design, Set Design, Color Design) and Ice Age: Continental Drift (Junior Designer). He currently serves as a production designer and character art director on Netflix’s Nimona. Aidan loves the outdoors, traveling, climbing and surfing in his free time. 

ND STEVENSON 

Author and Illustrator, Nimona (Graphic Novel)

ND Stevenson is the award-winning, bestselling author and illustrator of Nimona, as well as a co-producer of the film adaptation coming to Netflix this summer. Stevenson is also the author and illustrator of The Fire Never Goes Out, the co-creator of Lumberjanes, and was the showrunner for the award-winning Netflix series She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. He currently lives in Los Angeles.
